San Francisco’s Live 105 Announces The New Up at This Year’s BFD Fest Live On the Air

It just so happened to be N. Reid’s birthday and he had just rolled in fresh from a birthday trip down to Joshua Tree in Southern California when Live105’s Aaron Axelsen asked he and ES Pitcher to come down to the studio on Sunday night for an announcement. After recording some spots for Live 105, they went on the air with Axelsen to announce that they would be featured in the annual juggernaut Live105 BFD Fest on June 10th.
Aaron pointed out that it was Noah’s birthday and the fact that he had just come back from Joshua Tree, and then made a hilariously off-hand comment about doing paoti in the desert. He asked some questions about the recording of the new album, “Tiny Mirrors”, and ES responded with some of the inspiration behind the album. He followed up that question with a question about “Future Is Now”, and Noah went into the inspirations behind how the song came to him out of the blue. Indeed, it was a funny but enlightening on-air interview all around.

The New Up will share the stage with the likes of Phoenix, Franz Ferdinand, Milky Chance, Marian Hill, Taking Back Sunday, and so much more. If you haven’t already picked up tickets, you can do so here. Be sure to come check out The New Up’s first time performing at Shoreline Amphitheatre, which if they have anything to do with it (and they very much do), won’t be their last!
